The Odyssey for iPad and iPhone
The app is essentially an e-book application for children in elementary school. Within the app the basic traditional story is told…Odysseus fights the Cyclops and Scylla, and tries to make his way back to his family. Designed with three to ten year olds in mind, The Odyssey is a full animated and beautifully illustrated introduction to the wide world of literature. The original tale has been condensed into nineteen lovingly crafted pages, and children can choose between reading for themselves, or alternatively having the eBook read aloud to them; akin to a bed-time story.
