Delivery Manager

Job Description:

  • Constant and traceable interaction with clients across different segments; capable of instilling a sense of confidence amongst clients that their interests are taken care of.
  • Inspiring confidence and team spirit amongst team members and instilling a sense of customer-centricity to their approach to client interactions.
  • Scouting for repeat business opportunities within the client’s business segments and aggressively following-up with complete ownership for closing out such opportunities successfully.
  • Take complete ownership of client receivables and aggressively follow-up to recover outstanding dues.
  • Transparent and professional reporting of project status with in-depth analysis of potential challenges.
  • Reliably execute software projects. Ensure timeliness, predictability and quality of deliverables. Ensure timeline and acceptance criteria for deliverables are defined and accepted by all concerned. Deliver on service commitments and participate in account plan and strategy.
  • Proactively handle operational issues related to software delivery.
  • Ability to work through the creation of a Statement of Work (SOW), working closely with client engagement and delivery teams.
  • Provide leadership and direction to delivery teams working across the organization.
  • Ensure continuous communication and co-ordination with client on all service related issues.
  • Undertake regular periodic client reviews to improve service quality and solicit client feedback.
  • Put in place crisis management procedures and response plans.
  • Report to senior management on a regular basis on existing project and internal software development and delivery projects.
  • Work closely with senior management on resource planning exercises, based on existing and future growth plans of the company.
  • Create a framework for regular reviews and feedback from clients.
  • Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met at all times, by proactively reviewing deliverables and project activities against commitments made.
  • Deploy best practices when it comes to ensuring proactive account management on existing customers and their on-going feedback and customization requests.
  • Develop and nurture talent within the organization on client engagement initiatives, project management and product suite knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Superior project management capabilities working across internal teams in organizations as well as co-ordinating deliverables to customer organizations.
  • Knowledge of best practices deployed in the creation of Business Requirement documentation and its translation into Software Technical Specification documents.
  • Knowledge and skill in working through a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work in teams and also ensure teamwork and participation across the various functions and departments within the firm.
  • Ability to motivate and energize team members to deliver to project plans.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • Excellent Team Management and Leadership Skills.
