Mr. Fauteux holds a Master of Business Administration, is a Certified Management Consultant, a Certified Human Resource Professional, a Registered Professional Recruiter, and a Certified Change Manager. Throughout his twenty five year career he has worked with a broad range of professional organizations and individuals in North America to improve their performance.

Jules Fauteux is currently Principal Consultant at Talentlogix Inc. where he provides Management Consulting and Recruitment services. His practice areas include Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, Business Change, and Recruitment. He was most recently Managing Director of Professional Services at xwave, a Division of Bell Aliant where he provided leadership to practitioners and contractors in 6 Canadian provinces and parts of the US with a workforce of over 1,000. His responsibilities included workforce management and oversight of practices across the organization.

Prior to joining xwave, Mr. Fauteux was President of APEX Workforce Management, a Halifax based consultancy focused on helping professional services organizations to improve results. Prior to launching APEX Workforce Management, Mr. Fauteux was Vice President of Workforce Management for Fujitsu Consulting North America. In this capacity, he implemented innovative solutions, and provided leadership to a team of 50 professionals who delivered workforce management services across a team of 5,000 employees.

Previously, Mr. Fauteux held a variety of senior positions at IBM Canada. He was Manager, Market Driven Quality for the National General Business Division where he successfully implemented organizational change achieving superior business results and unprecedented levels of employee morale. He also held sales management positions with IBM in Atlantic Canada.

As CEO of Ambir Solutions, Ian brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record working with high growth software and services companies. His knowledge of the global outsourcing industry and his passion for both India and Atlantic Canada, is what attracted Ian’s attention to Cabot Solutions. Ian’s strengths lie in his expertise in Executive Management, Business Development & Strategy, Sales & Marketing, International Markets, M&A, Venture Capital & Operations.

Experienced in both private and public high growth technology companies, Ian was most recently Canadian President of a global outsourcing company where he gained a comprehensive insight into the opportunities in the IT services sector. Previously, Ian founded Daruma Consulting Inc. where he focused on providing strategic guidance to start-ups both in Canada and the United States. These are the skills he will be bringing to the table as an advisory board member of Cabot and guide Cabot Solutions to grow and reach its full potential. Apart from Cabot Solutions, Ian is also an Advisory Board Member of YourTeam Online, Digant Technologies PVT (India), SaleNorth Solutions and Comprecultures. Ian is a Director of PropelICT and the Associated Alumni of Acadia University and formerly member of the National NASSCOM/ITAC Steering Committee on Outsourcing.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree from Acadia University and the Technical University of Nova Scotia.
