For over forty five years now, CES is what has defined technology to the world. Held in Las Vegas every year, CES (Consumer Electronic show) has served to be the global stage wherein we witnessed the births of many spine-tingling innovations. Right from its start in 1967, CES has managed to be the in the ceaseless, bizarre flow of news. The company promises to launch the chip in two configurations including a 32-bit quad-core, 4-Plus-1 ARM Cortex A15 CPU version, and a 64-bit dual Super Core CPU version.While the 32 bit version is due for release by July 2014, NVIDIA plans to release the 64 bit version by the end of November 2014. But the company has now come with a second version of their wearable series - Pebble Steel. When the architecture remains still the same, what is exciting is its new metallic finish. Kirk H&J Corporation iNPOFi Foldable Mobile Wireless Charger [one_half last="no"] Yet another breath taking product launched in the CES 2014 is a fold-able / roll-able charger with a battery of 5000 mAh. This fold-able wireless mobile charger ensures a 90% power efficiency with zero radiation emission. While promising a speedy recharge, this charger automatically recognizes the compatible devices that can be charged with it. When rolled, it provides an additional utility as an LED flash light with 40 lumen. [/one_half] [one_half last="yes"][/one_half] 5. f201 Car Camcorder from VistaQuest [one_half last="no"][/one_half] [one_half last="yes"] Released as a mountable device on the wind shield , the Car camcorder is designed to record the road ahead or behind with the help of a 120 degree lens. It has an emergency collision sensor that can store and lock video in case of a collision. It has a motion sensor that can trigger the cam in case if someone snoops outside the car. The built in GPS helps in tracking the camera and car and it provide alerts when the car approaches a police speed camera. The device, which is expected to be released by June this year costs around $ 150 [/one_half] 6. LaCie Fuel Wireless Hard Drive [one_half last="no"] Yet another economy release that caught the attraction of CES 2014 was the Fuel wireless hard drive with a Terabyte storage capacity. The drive has a built in Wi - Fi radio which in turn can serve as a router for the wireless network, for access by an iOS device or Mac (through a USB 3.0 cable). The company ensures that the device is Air play compatible with a battery life of 10 hours. The expected market release is by end of March 2014 for $ 199. Linksys WRT1900AC Dual Band Wi-Fi Router [one_half last="no"] [/one_half] [one_half last="yes"] 802.11 AC wireless router introduced by Linksys was yet another attraction of the show. This router has a dual core 1.2 Ghz processor, 128 Megabytes, flash and four removable antennas.It has a Smart Wi - Fi facility that allows the user to access the router remotely either from a browser or a mobile application. The Router is all set to hit the markets this August at a price of $300. [/one_half] 8. Parrot Jumping Sumo [one_half last="no"] The biggest highlight of the drone category was the Parrot's Jumping Sumo, a land based robot drone, also intended as a toy. In a single bound, the drone jumps up to 35 inches ; all on the command of the user. It has a built in camera, with which it is possible to stream live video back to the controller. It also has a Wi- Fi radio that rolls around on the wheels. [/one_half] [one_half last="yes"][/one_half] 9. HP Pro X2 410 hybrid laptab [one_half last="no"][/one_half] [one_half last="yes"] Laptab was introduced as a device that can serve basically as a laptop and a tablet simultaneously on unhooking the keyboard. It has a 11.6 Inch screen with 1366 x 768-pixel resolution, a 2 Megapixel front and back camera and a battery life of over 12 years. The battery back, USB and HDMI ports are incorporated with keyboard. [/one_half] 10. ASUS Transformer Book Trio TX201LA [one_half last="no"] This gadget from ASUS bagged one of the CES awards for innovation. The company claims the device to be the first 3 in 1, 11.6 inch dual OS (windows 8 / Android ) hybrid laptop with a 4th generation Intel core processor. While the core runs Windows 8, a second processor, Intel Atom, runs Android, supporting even the Android mobile apps. With more technologists geared up for the CES, there is no limit to innovation. Perhaps, the 2015 edition can promise us much more than we can ever imagine.
