The wait list management app for restaurants that manages the
virtual queues in real-time. Customers should be able to connect to
the host restaurant and put themselves on the list. They were to
receive auto notifications when their turn came and alert the host at
the press of a button.
SOLUTION
The Corcav.Behaviours plugin was put to use with Xamarin.Forms in
the cross platform development along with Visual Studio. The key
focus was to reduce unnecessary communication by providing
appropriate position based notifications (both location and in the
line).
RESULT
The pair of Joir Client and Joir Host Stand apps was developed for
restaurants and customers respectively. It could reduce the use of
clunky buzzers, bring down wait times significantly and streamline
customer inflow.
